Zionists seems determined to believe that Israel representes excellent value for money for the US, but I have to say, like a lot of people, I just don't see it. The US gets a bit of hi-tech from Israel, but it pays ffor it, and it could no doubt get it elsewhere if it had to. It probably gets a bit of intelligence, but I bet it only gets the intelligence Israel wants it to get, showing the things Israel wants it to see. The other side of the coin is that Israel is a constant source of conflict between US and the Muslim world, not the only source of conflict, but definitely one of the biggest. The US really doesn't need Israel. It does what it does for Israel because of the number of Israelis who are also US citizens and because of the number of US Jews and US evangelicals lobbying for Israel.
