Israel sure has a funny way of expanding? Let's see after 1967 Israel has given back over 95% of the land it won in the War. Put simply Israel is half the size it was immediately after winning the Six Day War. So much for your "Israel is against changing the status quo in which they continue to expand outside Israels borders.". Remember Israel leaving Gaza 5 years ago (and turning over the West Bank to the PA) further shrinking the size of its borders. Do you know silly you sound? Israel also gets accused "ethnic cleansing"? Meanwhile the Arab population(Palestinians) has more than doubled since 1948? A funny way to eliminate your enemy? wouldn't you say Natalie? ND writes:"why would the Palestinians need Israeli permission to try to stabilize their lives?" Because they elected Hamas run government, and they are "on the record": 1) they do NOT recognize Israels "right to exist" and 2) actively seek to destroy Israel. Sounds like good reasons to me.

Daniel Barenboim, Israel's voodoo doll
