You know not of what you speek. Israelis captured, or kidnapped, have never been accorded any of the protections of the laws of war by Arabs and their sympathisers. You should also understand that treaty law, which is the basis of much of the laws of war, is agreement among nations to be bound by certain obligations, and as such are implicitly based on reciprocity. However, treaty obligations under the Geneva Conventions must be followed, even if the other party does not reciprocate.
