I'm afraid that I wouldn't be a good fit with the Likud Paul, because I agree with most of the positions put forward by Fatah moderates on this forum. But that still doesn't change the reality that Israel is facing today, which is not a government run by moderates, but rather a party of religious extremists who are determined to carry this fight to the bitter end, whether you are ready to go there or not. I believe in taking what people say seriously, and I hear the message of Hamas loud and clear. Nonetheless, Israel is in a good position to defeat the enemy. Faith that God is on their side, will not be able to match the reality of a nearly impenetrable security fence/wall together with relentless targeted assassinations. It is obvious that Israel will soon be in a position to shut down the enemy. Aside from a few poorly directed rockets, the Palestinian attack has been effectively blunted. Israel does not have to offer any apologies for defending itself. -Bloomfield-
