Can't do, coz he gets it wrong in the very first sentence: "Since Israel is the lawful authority there until there is a negotiated agreement establishing "secure and recognized borders free from threats and acts of force" -- The authority is UNSC242." No; lawful authority comes from the fact of "belligent occupation", hence Israel's position as the Occupying Power under the Geneva Conventions and the Hague Regulations. UNSC242 has NOTHING to do with Israels lawful authority over occupied territory; 242 exists to provide the political/legal framework within which a resolution of this conflict can be found. It's simple, Brnd. Ask yourself what would be different if UNSC242 had *never* been voted. The answer? Nothing; Israel's authority over the WB/Gaza would still be exactly the same, because they derive from Int'l Humanitarian Law, not from a UNSC Resolution. Go back to school and learn, Brnd, or else do us ALL a favor and go out and play in traffic.
