It thinks it will suceed if it just digs in its heels and waits out the other side. Simple As That. J: "Why make a big deal out of the Pals recognizing Israel?" Yes, interesting that the Israelis so insist on this..... The answer: When they say they want the Pals to recognize "Israel" what they mean is the Pals must accept it as a "Jewish State". Or, put in other words, the Pals have to agree that the zionists can take any steps necessary to maintain Israel as a zionist regime. This neuters Right of Return. It will also come in very handy when Israel moves on to the next phase; transferring Arab Israelis and forcing them onto the "Palestine" bantustans. Israel will hold up that "recognition" and claim the Pals have already acquiesced...
