Gabe1 is a singular phenomenon here. He cannot use logic. I try to ignore him, but the guy persists in posting to me. I guess I will prepare one posting exposing his illogicality, and keep posting it every time this golem becomes a nuisance. 1. "Why should Israel actually care if it takes a civil war to dismantle Hamas" And may be the result will be that Fatah is dimantled? 2. "The PA knew in 1993 that there was no way of Israel going back to 1967 or giving up Jerusalem. So why did the Balis sign." In 1993 there was not yet the PA, only the PLO. Perhaps they thought that there WAS a way for Israel to go back? (Israel came very close to it in Taba, and Beilin in the Geneva Accords.) 3. "So you believe that Hamas is not a terror group and that there is and was no terror perpetrated by Hamas and or other terror groups." No. Hamas is a terror group but also a national liberation movement. Liberation is the Goal, terror the Means. Don't confuse the two.

How I learned to fall in love with sanctions

Sanctions did not devastate South Africa or Iran. Nor will they destroy Israel; above all it will extricate Israel from a trap it is unable to get out of by itself.
