You say if only the Israeli's were to give some land to that Palestinians in 1948, do you not know anything about what happened at that time? Well let me explain! The UN decreed the partition of the land between the Jew's and gave them the land in which they were a majority and the gave the Palestinians the land in which they were a majority. It was the UN who should and DID do this. (not the Jews of Palestine. The Palestinian leaders rejected this, the Jewish leaders grudgingly accepted this. The Palestinians then kept attacking the Jewish settlements and were then helped by the other Arab States Jordan, Egypt & Syria, the Arab League eventualy declared war on the just born Israel. And the conflict is still raging today. Had the Palestinian?s and the other Arab leaders accepted (what the called the catastrophe of) some of the land of Palestine being given to the Jews by the UN then your right, we wouldn't be here today. But I think the best thing to do now is to work for a just peace that accepts the right of both people to live in peace and not blame one side or the other.
