Yes, Hanan is a christian, as was Arafat's wife. Christians in the "territories" align themselves closely with those who support their interests. Christians experience little persecution by the moslems in the territories. They enjoy the same rights there as moslems. Thgis is not the case when the live in, or travel to Israel, or abroad. Christians are subject to the same "personna non gratis" that muslums are subjected to at the hands of the Israelis. This means the same roadblocks, the same seige in gaza, the same travel restrictions. This applies to ALL christians! Now, given that, if you lived there, who would best represent your interests?? I am a Christian, and I find my interests are best represented by the Hamas leadership. Does that make me less of a Christian?
