"nablus" is the 3300 year old Jewish city of Shechem where the Ark was kept until we built the TEmple in Jerusalem 3000 years ago. That is over 1500 years before Islam was invented. And you call the Jews the "Settlers"? Ha, ha! Shechem, Canaanite settlement dating from 2000BC, may have been taken by Israelites for a time (c 1000BC), but it became a Samaritan city, repopulated after the fall of Israel in 721BC by Cutheans, an ethnic group from Assyria, who created their own form of Judaism. Only rubble remains, including a temple to Zeus built by Hadrian 2nd c AD. Not far from the ruins is Nablus, founded as FLAVIA NEAPOLIS by Vespasianus AD72, ruled in its almost 2000 yrs by Byzantines, Arabs, Crusaders, Turks, it was never ruled by Jews. Muslims, Christians and Samaritans make up the population today. Famous for soap, cheese and kanafeh nablusi, as well as the unique folk costumes, Nablus is not and never has been Jewish. Stop being so damn greedy. Ignorance is no excuse
