MarkC, I lived in Israel and heard all of this BS before, ulpan aleph stuff. Serving in the army does not make you a better person, and, by the way, I know quite a few American Jews who are walking the streets of Bagdad and Ramadi dodging bullets. A typical Israeli aspires to have the same comforts in life including a car, a house, and a credit card as any other person, American or not. American Jews have all the right to advice the driver on the road ahead, first of all because they supplied the gas, new Goodyear tires, and built the road. And second of all, because the driver is cocky, half educated, and lack the proper knowledge to read the signs.
