I am not aware that I have said Israel cannot defend herself. I objected to Johnny Weintraub's post because he made the assumption that I have never been to that particular region. I also enlightened him to the fact that the IDF refused to allow me to visit the second holiest place in Christendom. Hardly likely to make friends and influence people that. If Israel defending herself means ethnically cleansing Gaza as proposed by Johnny Weintraub then I will have to fight that as I would if Israel was threatened with ethnic cleansing. I like having debate, prehaps you can tell me if it is fair that Americans forgo free health care so as to keep Israel economically afloat? Or whether Americans should be able to make an informed choice? Free health care? Or a continuation in sponsership of Israel? I think it is fair to debate this, don't you?
