SDHD: "Authority might be a PART," SDHD: "For the occupation to be an occupation, they need to have a presence WITHIN the territory, and be in control of administering the citizenry," Hague Regs: Territory is considered occupied when it is actually placed under the authority of the hostile army. The occupation extends only to the territory where such authority has been established and can be exercised. You are wrong. The definition of "occupation" concerns itself only with "authority" i.e. who has established it, who exercises it, and over what territory the exercise of that authority takes place. SDHD, get this thru your skull: 1) to establish a BLOCKADE is not to establish an OCCUPATION (your argument). 2) But if you have established an OCCUPATION then you can not end it merely by moving over to a BLOCKADE of that occupied territory (my argument). BOTH arguments are valid in their own right, but only MY argument is applicable to Gaza. Y.O.U.R.S. I.S.N.'.T.
