The major problem with your argument is that one country can "own" another with no regard for the inhabitants, in this case Palestine. According to Weizman's plea to the world body before the "gift", there were almost a million people living in Palestine, very few he admits were Jews. You are hung up on this thousands of years stuff. Thousands of years ago, everybody lived every place else. Would you support a takeover of the US by the Indians because they once owned it all? Correct me if I am in error, but Jews lived peacefully in Arab countries until Europeans Jews plopped down in Palestine, killed and/or ran out those living there and have been raising hell ever since. What do you think, given those facts, the Arabs countries where Jews lived should have done? Just like you want to get rid of the Arab population in Israel, running out possible treasonous folks, members of those slaughtering the Pals, probably seemed appropriate. Better to go for peace while it is possible.
