Well, Alex, could you envision theoretically any kind of criticism vis-à-vis Israel that you wouldn't be able to squeeze into the word-suitcase of "anti-Semitism"? This reminds me of an anecdotic episode that happened to one Jewish woman in Strasbourg: she nearly got hit by a truck and after few verbal "exchanges of fire" with its driver he shouted "you know, I?m a Jew, you, anti-Semite!". Won't the pro-Israeli speakers ever unilaterally stop overabusing and discrediting this word? After all there is also a real anti-Semitism in the world. By investing this word with objective definition and not merely one's own interest one will start being essentially different from those who say Jews drink blood or what not.
