None of the settlers in Hebron have any relation, family or otherwise, with the Jewish community that used to live in Hebron. Representatives of the Jewish families who used to live in Hebron have repeatedly condemned the actions of the settlers in Hebron. However, you are right. In the riots in Hebron in the 20s and 30s some Palestinian Muslims attacked Palestinian Jews and Jewish immigrants in Hebron. (Luckily many Palestinian Jews were hidden and protected by their neighbours.) However, one thing that is important to remember in the context of the Israel - Palestine conflict, one wrong does not justify another.
