'I am ashamed that I saw injustice and never did anything about it,' Reinhold Hanning tells German courtroom.01:17 30.04.16 | 1 comments
Israel in March this year voted for a party whose sole raison d'etre is to pull out of land and evacuate further settlements - that may be off the agenda now thanks to Nasrallah but the fact is that a government on that agenda was voted in. On the Palestinian side, they voted overwhelmingly for a party that main platform is explicitly the end of Israel. They repeatedly restate this and to be fair to them, unlike their apologists like you they honest enough to be upfront about it. Israel can - and probably are - talking to Hamas but until they fundamentally agree an Israeli state can exist, in some form, then there really is nothing to discuss and any form of negotiation is going to be pro-forma only and without any substance.
