Dutch - you're quick to spout numbers from research reports regarding Palestinian children, but have you ever seen the equivalent affects on Israeli children?? Do you even care? Do your same reports announce the amount of international aid given to the PLO, the largest in the world to any one group, and yet no jobs or food handouts have ever been produced by them?? Have you read the reports released by the IMF, the Israeli Comptroller, and the Financial Manager of the Palestinians on how much money had arrived, and how much is unaccounted for?? Does your report also mention how many Palestinians earned their livelihood from jobs inside Israel, that were effectively lost once the Intifada began? Do you expect Israel to continue this open relationship when war was declared on her? What would you say to the families who lost a father or son, when they were attacked for nationalistic reasons by the very Palestinians they hired, and often went against the law to keep?? This is why groups like Hamas are growing, because they actually answered the problems that the PA never did. And this is why so many people point the finger of blame at Israel for the situation. The same argument brought on the US for Iraq's population during the embargo, though it was proven many times over, in their own documents, that the Saddam regime used his people as propaganda fodder.
