To back up what Shalom has so eloquently pointed out, Israel has come to a moment of truth. Either you beat this vicious enemy or you will be subjected to endless border incursions, rocket attacks and possibly a dirty bomb. Do not give back the Shebaa Farms, the Golan Heights, or one square inch of territory you fought, bled, and suffered for in 1967 or 1973. To do so would dishonor those soldiers who gave their lives for the State of Israel. Furthermore, do not trust the UN the EU or any other international body. They do not have your best interests at heart. They will appease the madmen in Iran and Syria, who are bent on your destruction. It might be useful now to take advantage of the emerging split in the Islamic world between Shia and Sunni. Iran is only weakening the Arab League. Accept nothing less than a generous buffer zone in Southern Lebanon, a strong armed fence keeping the Palestinians out of Israel, and then you can consider wrapping up this latest operation.
