"(..) a sovereign country does have the right to say NO to anyone who wants to live there." wow. such a simple truth, Lynn, but one which had never crossed my mind because i see israeli gov as a novel expression of Democracy .. Ah! there is the rub! EITHER Have your cake..Modern Leftist Socialist Soviet/USA State of Israel OR Eat it..Set up a new govt based on Talmud-Torah which gives full citizenship to all JEWS (let the Religious Community be aware: i am not proposing a huge Beis Din for you to govern the people of israel, but a NEW MODERN JEWISH STATE where even the laws of talmud evolve with time, just like the Burning Bush burns and evolves and so continues and continues Lynn..1. G-d would be extremely happy, we all know. 2. the relig datim will be thrilled 3. the xtians the world over will know the end of days is near 3. even ahmadinejad will be able to diffuse his whole nucl bomb plans as he declares he was "proven right!" standing on tiptoes waving monkey smiling.
