let me turn to a related topic. It has become a commonplace among progressives that Zionism is an enemy of the world community,in league with Anglo American interests.Hamas has stated its position vis a vis israel namely that israel is the enemy in the ME.There is an interesting situation here such as the one that J.Massad talked about in 'Subverting Democracy'. Hamas the so called 'terrorist' is the one actually defending democracy.I don't know if you agree with me: while the battle has just been joined, and Hamas has to move carefully and they do seem to be moving in the right way(rejecting the quisling call to convene Parliament)that we have reached a turning point, not just for Palestine, which I hope will be liberated, not some day,but soon, but also for the world community.Regards.
