Polybios, as I wrote to Ronnie (Wolman), I have always been a strong supporter of a credible Palestinian alternative to Fatah and Hamas, who have both very much disappointed me over the past years. 2 parties can never be good enough for a lively democracy. By the way, that's not only a Palestinian problem. Also the United States would (urgently) need some political alterna- tives, and if the polls there are not totally wrong, then many Americans are seeing it exactly the same way (the "Independent" party has become the biggest voter-block). With regard to Israel, I would wish a true, open discussion among the biggest Israeli parties on how the future of Israel should look like. As a Swiss it is hard for me to understand how indifferent many Israelis are, when it comes to their future. We Swiss would never allow to let our politicians get away with such lousy performances. Believe me, we would give them hell.
