Angry journalists, who initially boycotted the session, describe subcommittee's claims to be part of a 'witch hunt,' and slam Israel's 'authoritarian' efforts to clamp down on the media.14:27 09.02.16 | 2 comments
Your comment: "Your anti-Americanism is showing." to CJK. Stop jumping to conclusions, after all you would say that criticism of Israel is not anti Israel (or anti-semitism). So, criticism of the US is not anti-American. Friends should feel free to criticise each other shouldn't they? Why do you think it should only work one way? This US administration is showing what some would call inexperience. For example, why did Clinton stick her nose into the Falklands business? The Brits were not happy at all - and there was a lot of criticism in the press. To me, it seems that if Obama & co don't mind revisiting & realigning long-standing US relationships then they shouldn't expect those on the receiving end to sit back and smile sweetly.
