    My whole point is this: 5 years is a joke! I currenly live in a country, the US, where if I were convicted of murder, especially a hate crime I would most likely be sentenced to life without parole. I was born in the Netherlands, where the justice system would do the same. As a matter of fact in the US, depending on the state, I could get a death sentence, for the killing of just one person. The way I receive the message from Germany, 5 years for 28.000 people, means that if Joseph Mengele were found today, and brought to trial in Germany, he would get what? Perhaps 10 years?? Sadam Husein was hung, that was OK, he was old and sick too by the time they got to him. And wasn't Osama Bin Laden just shot in the head? Everybody was OK with that! He didn't even get a trial………
