After Netanyahu says he would wait for a new U.S. president to reach a better military deal for Israel, American officials fire back.00:09 08.02.16 | 0 comments
S: "All countries deport illegal aliens all the time." The West Bank is "Israeli-occupied territory", not "Israel", and that makes a very big difference. S: "The US, as all countries, deports illegal aliens all the time" As does Israel, from Israeli soil. But Israel doesn't own **this** territory; it merely controls it at the point of a gun. The rules that Israel must apply are therefore not those of a SOVEREIGN, but those of an OCCUPYING POWER. And Int'l Law clearly says that an occupying power is prohibited from forcibly transferring any of the population (i.e. "protected persons") out of occupied territory, regardless of the reason. Israel simply can not do as it wishes, precisely because this isn't "her country" to do with as she pleases. That's why your entire argument is completely wrong.
