Dear Tosefta, It is always a pleasure to read your posts. They are always informative, including # 49 here. I have a question though. Given the statements in the American Declaration of Independence about the need to fight for freedom when it is denied, don?t the two laws you quote here contravene the sentiments therein by providing succour to states who oppress? Are these two laws not unconstitutional? What possessed the Supreme Court to pass them? Is it a way of protecting US agents when they engage in such activities too? (Do you have any idea when these two laws were passed?) Finally, how does one get a state labeled as a ?state sponsor of terrorism??
