    VH: "saying they are illegal doesnt make them so !" Yeah, gotta agree with you there, Victor...those calling them "illegal" need to back that argument up with facts. VH: "instead of politics set out the legality of israel as a successor to the 1922 mandate !" Not really gonna help you, Victor, since it is the legal and political instruments of the State of Israel that are calling these settlements illegal. IF: the State of Israel *is* the sucessor state to the Mandate in THIS territory (personally, I can't agree, but that's another issue...)... AND: the Government of Israel *and* the Israel Defence Force *and* the Israel High Court of Justice all insist that these settlements are illegal.... THEN: I can't really see how you can maintain that they have any legality at all. There are no other sources of "legality" other than the State of Israel - according to YOU - so what the State of Israel says, goes. It has said, and it said they all gotta' go.
