'I am ashamed that I saw injustice and never did anything about it,' Reinhold Hanning tells German courtroom.01:17 30.04.16 | 1 comments
On what basis was Disengagement "right"? Let's assume you were right that it "opened the eyes" of many to the Arab culture of hate. Is that reason to ruin the lives of more than 10,000 good, loyal citizens of Israel? By the way, it's highly doubtful the heinous Disengagement opened any eyes. It merely whetted our enemies' desire for more of our land and more of our blood. Was it also worth the thousands of rockets Sderot and other Israeli cities and towns suffered as a result of Disengagement? Disengagement was a catastrophe. Many of those who supported Disengagement have publicly apologized. We need to change the whole perverse mentality of surrender and appeasement which is our greatest danger.
