"Those who object can travel on their Israeli passport as an alternative. They can even revoke their British citizenship, which of course would be their choice. What is wrong with that?" Chris, I hold both a British and Israeli passport and I am proud to associate myself with both countries. Your proposal is wrong because it assumes that all dual passport holders are guilty before the fact i.e. because s/he has a British & Israeli passport s/he is going to abuse the British passport or possibly (unwittingly) allow it to be abused. Would you impose this type of measure on muslim Britons because some who have dual nationality have been involved in terrorism? I don't think you would - so please reconsider.
