Elizabeth, you probably heard a few things and are totally confused. Etzel (Irgun), Stern (Lechi) and Haganah had very little in common. The Haganah were supported by 90% of the Jewish population and were a political and fighting force. The others were about 10%, but were very vocal. However, they lived in different times (1940s). Today is hard to understand those circumstances. The most importand towever, is that these men changed. They "grew up" to be more then terrorists. Yassir Arafat was given golden opportunities to prove that he is more then just a lousy terrorist, but he could not stand to the task. In a nutshell, it symbolizes the Palestinian tragedy.
