Hello Tosefta, PM Olmert has known for a long time now that his coalition government must deliver the obligations of the Road Map to maintain credibility as the Israeli partner for peace. What's understandably difficult for Olmert, since he's been in the place of those opposing the "serious compromises", is his partners within the coalition setting preconditions before the launching of peace negotiations. Also, regarding Jerusalem's status needing 80 MK's approval. I wonder if the U.N. resolutions regarding Jerusalem supercede the amendment to the Basic Law on Jerusalem? Which laws apply here? P.S. I particularly fond of nebisch Jews, and come to think of it, they're most of my friends, including myself ofcourse!
