By contrast, honest critics recognize that this perspective in which culpability for US occupations is minimized and that of Israel more strongly condemned "is a phantasmagoric view of politics" that "amounts to turning things upside down" and reflects "some degree of antisemitism" (Chomsky and Achcar, Perilous Power, 2009, p. 63).
