Is that the threshold for Arab "victory" has slowly got lower and lower and the threshold for Israeli victory got higher and higher. When Israel fought in 1967, it lost more men in the first day than it did in the entire 34 days of fighting Hizbollah. In 1973, over a hundred of its tanks were destroyed, in the last battle 4 were. In 1982, the PLO killed nearly 700 IDF in the same period of time it took Hizbollah to kill 160 odd - also nearly the same amount of time it took Hamas to kill the same number in 2002. At this rate, we'll have peace because the threshold for "victory" will be so low for the Arabs that it will acceptable to Israel.
