    Aug.1 or 2 on Russia issuing an invitation to the Mishal delegation.The breaking news,ofcourse,is that a second Unity Govt.may be established.Hope so.Agree with you that without Hamas,there can be no settlement. Daniel,if you read my post again carefully you will see that I am not 'accusing' you of a bunker mentality.I am simply describing the very situation that you have explained.How can israel get out of this armed fortress?People are suggesting the one state of all citizens(Benvenisti).Good idea,but how ? Since there is the prospect of a second Unity govt.and Mishal has been saying recently(in Quatar) that they do not intend to establish an islamic emirate.Contrary to what you may have read in the past,Hamas has changed a lot.Nothing in life is written in stone and Mishal seems to be a very sensible person.A 2 state solution is within the reach of both sides.But israel has to move fast and this is its last chance. P.S. I am from India and we have our own share of problems.
