The 30-year-old assailant was killed by the police after injuring four people in the Nazareth Restaurant and Deli.22:38 12.02.16 | 0 comments
when I was a young soldier in Vietnam, I casually shot a farmer who was standing in a field about a 1/4 of mile away from me. I was croached along a ridge. He saw me (and the others who were with me) and angrily waved his hands at us. When my bullet struck him he topped over, face down, arms wide spread. Dead. "What a shot", I then rejoiced. "A quarter of a mile away!" 44 years and 6 months later, that farmer - and the utterly wicked act I perpetrated - still haunts me ... as will the equally senseless, cold-blooded murder of this protestor haunt the IDF soldier who fired that round. I (almost) feel sorry for what he will have to go through (inside his head) for the rest of his life.
