JN: "However, the resolution is vague about where the border between Israel and the Jordanian and Egyptian occupied portions of Palestine is." It makes NO mention of where any of the borders are. It merely insists that one of the principles for peace is that everyone (and that means EVERYONE, including Israel) acknowledges, recognizes and respects everyone else's borders. You appear to believe that this applies to everyone EXCEPT Israel. JN: "Actually, no border between Israel and the Palestinian Territories has ever been established" It is detailed in the Partition Plan, and the provisional govt of Israel acknowledged that fact when it formally asked for USA recognition. JN: " All there is to go by is an obsolete armistice line known as "the Green Line" which is subject to adjustments." Untrue: the Partition Lines of 1947 are the legal borders of Israel. JN: "It makes a lot more sense today to use the path of the security barrier" Why, exactly?
