25 years at the current rate of geo-political change UNLESS Israel is willing to totally give up most of its dreams, which will require Israel to give up most of the land and water it has stolen and probably a lot of cash. I am working on a long paper called "Does Israel have a future?" and hope to get it published before the end of 2007. No matter how I run the economic and power scenarios, Israel loses either mostly or completely. Israel's choices are actually very simple: (1) low grade war until the Arabs forcibly take back the land (2) civil war to destroy the Greater Israel myth and a negotiated agreement with the Arabs. Israel's current situation is unstable and unsustainable so (1) or (2) will eventually prevail. Sorry for the dismal news, but there is no bright future - things will only get worse as time goes by. I will be extremely surprised if Israel lasts until 2035. BTW Israel using nukes gets every Jew in the world killed.
