    No, those weren't propoganda lies...Well established facts...The United States lost thousand of it's men cleaning out the Tarawa, New Guinea and the other Islands...Land far removed from the Japanse homeland...The U.S. well knew, that the Japanese would be far more ferocious fighting on their home Island...Did you really think the U.S. was going to sustain tremendous casualties taking the Islands?? The Japanese lost about 200,000 from the A-Bombs, your Nazi's incinerated MILLIONS, not mere hundreds of thousands... Your country became public when the American's & British liberated the camps, and saw the piles of emaciated bodies and felt the still warm ovens...Your troops as they retreated, killed as many of the those that remained living as they could... You could mention ten Mai Lai's, it would but a speck of sand on the beach in comparison to what your countrymen did.... Our soldiers were honored...Those very few that transgressed were dealt with in the appropriate manner.
