Re Farzan's comment re Iran - a ".....secular state so people become friends with Israel". Iran becoming friends with Israel does not depend on Iran becoming a secular state because whether or not Iran retains its "theocracy" or becomes entirely secular-based, progress is possible either way. Don't forget the Koran endorses the Covenant with the Jewish people and Israel (and also endorses a form of Christianity). Iran's attitude to Israel is in reality, probably basically strategic . And Israel obviously abhors Iran's penal code eg, execution by stoning and amputation as punishment. Israel does not have any form of the death penalty - and Israel might even have been the nation which lead the world in respect of not having the death penalty. (Need to check facts about that).
