According to IL on the high seas a country can be in disputed(or not yet resolved waters) only if in "hot pursuit" of slavers, pirates, etc. This was not the case and the earlier video prior to the capture shows the sailors boasting about spying on Iran. They were in Iraqi or Iranian waters.Iran had a right to capture them.Blair's map of the waters is a bogus one. Craig Murray, the former head of the marine division of the British Foreign Office, and an expert on international law on the high seas, states the above. Re: the Press Conference today by the sailors. What do you expect ?Hard to believe these stories. They may be under pressure from the Blair government. Both during their stay in Iran and today, they do not look like people who were ill treated. And it is more than likely that the footage we saw in Iran of these sailors sitting around and eating their meals, playing chess, smoking, talking to each other are the more accurate ones.
