Anonymous in #4 makes a fair point and the Egyptian action, seemingly based only on its antipathy to Hamas and the huge US support Egypt receives, can also be seen as collective punishment and thus a war crime. However, in no way does this let Israel off the hook for its crime - especially as a country that likes to be seen as a "western" country" must meet the quality standards. On #7 and #11 on Cuba, while I agree with the latter that the embargo should be lifted, it is totally different, as it is only trade with the USA which is effected - whereas Gaza is a total embargo.
