'If and When' is a long time away. We'll have somebody rational in the White House. The latest US estimate is that any capability is at least 3 years away, well beyond the Bush administration, then. Hillary talks like a hawk, but even she looks for reasonably accurate intelligence - no more slam-dunks. Obama looks more of a talker and not one to jump into another war. I'm not counting them out, but I don't think any of the republicans have much chance in 2008. The only ones who seem competent carry too much baggage and the only ones willing to take on the Washington culture of corruption and cronyism don't have a prayer of a chance. The two groups of republicans are mutually exclusive.
