    Actually, Mr. Camillo, I believe that Uzi's point in post #20 was that there is no single people spread over a variety of regions who share a self conception as 'Palestinian' in a sense distinct from "Jordanian," and that this lack of organic unity of self-conception itself dooms the project of forming a 'Palestinian' state distinct from Jordan to failure. I am not fit to judge whether that be true or not of those whom you and many call 'Palestinians,' but I do know it is *not* true of diaspora Jews, who *did* and *do* share a singulary sense of Jewish identity and do quite gracefully now constitute a state again in Israel, notwithstanding much variety among them in respect of other attributes.
