The British were the colonial power in Mandate Palestine, not the Jews. In 1937, the Peel Commission offered the Palestinians a state on about 80% of Palestine, which they refused. (Gelvin, Israel-Palestine Conflict, Cambridge University Press, 2005, p. 117). You can ignore history all you like and try to fit in with the crowd here who talk so glibly of colonial power, but that doesn't change facts. The Palestinians chose their own fate; they were not the victims of a colonial power, any more than were the Jews.
