Suspension for 'unbecoming behavior' would require the support of 90 MKs and would be for a period set by the Knesset House Committee.19:21 08.02.16 | 0 comments
As a Jew, having been through security checks in Israel, both inbound & outbound, I've always felt it was to my benefit when they're so cuatious. Flying to Cyprus, I underwent a thorough check on arrival, and a very thorough & personal body search on departure. I was called to return to the x-ray area, they found several suspicious objects in my carry-on bag. I had put a 35mm camera & telescope in the big. When viewed in the flouroscope they certainly looked like they required checking. I thanked the security agent, after all, I was to be on the flight. Arriving and departing from NY, I had thorough outgoing and return inspections. As a U.S. citizen, my travel was on an American Passport. Security has a rough job and a high burn-out rate. After all, each agent is responsible for hundreds of lives on board the aircraft. One mis-step, it could be another Lockerbie, Scotland.
