As for the West Bank, well 250,000 settlers will remain there in the major settlement blocks even with a Palestinian State, so that will prove to be another useful gain or buffer for the nation. Remember this. Without that measure of victory in '67 and the subsequent decades of occupation the PLO would still be talking about destroying all of Israel as would the other Arab Nations. They have effectively reconciled themselves to a future alongside Israel ONLY because of what has transpired, not despite it.
