Yael Patir, Israel director of the left-leaning U.S. Jewish body, sat down with Haaretz to talk about Trump, the gap between U.S. and Israeli Jews, and the growing anger at the Israeli peace camp. Though she concedes boycott efforts by some on the left have a negative effect, she rejects calls to keep peace efforts local.01:12 01.05.16 | 2 comments
Sarid as well as entire Israeli left received good punch from "international community" during war in Lebanon. They thought that as long as Israel acts in self-defense within "internationally recognized borders" she would receive support from liberal media and politicians. He-he. ---------- Excellent point, gene The left was always bragging about how powerfull their responce would be to any provocation if only Israel goes to the 1967 border. How international community would sanction everything Israel would do if attacked within the internationally recognized borders. They were always making the point that Israel hands are tied because of the occupation. Now after being shelled for months from Gaza by kassams and being attacked across the blue line in the north, we all see what their talk were worth of. I am impatiently waiting for more night tales from the uncle Yossi. Interesting what it would be the next time.
