Israel insists on being called a "Jewish" state, and you're slammed as a bigot for complying with its preference. I guess this little revelation explains why the Palestinians hesitate to acquiesce to that demand by Israel. They obviously recognize it as a perfect "Catch-22" for the purpose of justifying maintaining the status quo by Israeli PR. "Hostile anti-Semitic racist if you DO; hostile anti-Semitic racist if you DON'T".
