If everyone who worked in a public-sector job moved to the private sector for better pay and better treatment ... who would be left to do the public-sector work? Unless you are suggesting that the Israeli government hire foreign workers for the ports, the airports, public utilities, etc. Somehow, that doesn't seem a very secure solution to me. If the government values its ISRAELI public-sector employees, they should compensate them accordingly. Otherwise, you might find quite a lot of people taking your advice.
