"..Had they worked more for empowering the local population and less on the international issues of Palestine, etc. they would have accomplished much." A complete distortion and lie of facts and reality. The Palestinian-Israeli community has done nothing regarding the issue of Palestine. Not because they don't want to but because it's bad enough they are treated as second class citizens FOR BEING NON-JEWISH and bad enough they are told daily how they are a "demographic threat" and bad enough they hear talk of "transfer" and bad enough they are accused of being a "fifth column" on a daily basis. Yet, we saw a 5 year intifada, anyone hear a beep out of these people. Of course not, the xenophobic madness of Israeli's made sure not one got out of line. They know Israeli's are looking for the pretext to ship them out in boxcars given the chance. Therefore, don't you dare shift blame of their plight on them when even hardcore likudnik Arens faced up to the discrimination, neglect & racism
